AKBARKOD
Information
AKBARKOD was founded in Istanbul in 2011 under the motto ‘Barcodes Everywhere’. Today, it is carrying this philosophy into the future with the vision ‘More Than Barcode – Beyond the Barcode’; it operates as a trusted technology and manufacturing partner that manages businesses’ end-to-end traceability processes.
Together with our group companies and our team of 70 experts, we operate in the Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) sector; we provide all the components required by the traceability ecosystem under one roof. Thanks to our extensive portfolio of products and services—ranging from label production to thermal transfer ribbons, from barcode and RFID hardware to software solutions, and from technical service to after-sales support—we provide our customers with integrated solutions.
Our manufacturing capabilities form the foundation of our service philosophy. With the labels we produce in our own facilities and the thermal transfer ribbons we supply under our own brand, we ensure quality, continuity and supply reliability; whilst, through the strong business partnerships we have established with the world’s leading technology manufacturers, we bring the very latest hardware solutions to our customers. With our software solutions and technical expertise, we help businesses make their operations more efficient, safer and more traceable.
Whilst currently operating throughout Turkey, we are also continuing to grow in the international market through our exports to Azerbaijan, Egypt, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Algeria, Poland and neighbouring countries. We conduct our operations in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO
45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System; we support quality with our EKOTEKS-certified products, guided by a commitment to sustainability.
We regard contributing to the sector’s development as part of our corporate responsibility; we play an active role in leading sector associations and civil society organisations such as KYSD, ESD, MESİAD, ÇAĞSİAD, EGSD, TRİSAD and İTHİB.
At AKBARKOD, we do not view every project merely through the lens of product supply. We analyse processes, recommend the right technology and establish long-term business partnerships. Because for us, traceability is not merely a system; it is the most important part of the chain of trust stretching from production to the end user.
AKBARKOD: end-to-end traceability solutions and trust-based business partnerships.
